April, Mt. St. Mary's Academy
April's verse is still pale green
After all that we have seen
Like a mist upon the trees
Cloudy as the distant seas
April's verse is all my ease
Chill the wind the shadows flower
It Is still her dawning hour
Bridal as her petaled trees
Flower snow on you or me
Walking in the dew sprung morn
Through the shining grass to prayers.
Breathing in, the flowered air.
