Angry World Poem by Lyn Paul

Angry World

Rating: 4.3

It's an angry world right now
Everyone is fighting with words
The blame game has begun
Politicians are all pointing
Their lengthy fingers
That will always hold money
They thrive on the power
Of being a so called politician
They are not seeing
The hopelessness
The homeless
The helpless
Importantly

Humanity

It's a huge world
They are all elected to make the world a better place
WELL
It is just not happening.

I am 65 years old. In my lifetime I have never seen this world so much directionless as it is now. Politics and economics all over the world seems to be in disarray. You have aptly described some of the disappointment.

This little poem makes a strong point but doesn't seem to provide any resolution. Personally, I think it deserves attention, but needs a bit more work.

Profound poem. They all are crooks and will never mend their ways or thinking. Hope some day better sense will prevail.10***

When we focus on chaos we ignored peace. Sometimes being ignorant is bliss.

We live in a world where all men and all countries see each other as an enemy and we wield weapons either for self protection or for decimating those who we consider as enemies. The world has lost its peace and sense of fraternity! Politicians who are elected to ensure welfare of the people do not act and we are afraid where the world is heading to. A poem where you express all your concerns, Lyn!
