And Then I Grumbled Poem by Yehualashet Teshome

And Then I Grumbled

Rating: 5.0

I woke up
Greeted by the new sunny day
The universe smiled
Happy to see me back
After the dark night
Stood before me
In the morning sun
Shining, sparkling with light
Holding a note and pencil
To take my orders
For the new day
Which path to go
What to do with my life
Me I ordered
What I had yesterday
Yesteryear
And then I grumbled
Of life and stuff
How boring it was

That is the nature of humans. We all fail to look inwards for the troubles we have and blame others. Thank you for the poem.

Well written poem. Yes, that is what we do. We order, we choose the path and complain, nobody to blame but us.

Boredom is part of life.... Sometimes we cannot evade such state of being weary and restless through lack of interest....Well expressed...10++++
