And From The Ashes Rises The Phoenix Poem by The Muse

And From The Ashes Rises The Phoenix

And from the ashes rises the phoenix
It's only been months six
Since I've felt dead deep within
Leaving his world of sin

Spring bought back the haunted feeling
My head from the flowery scents is still reeling
Bougainvilleas & Wisteria
Fill me with hysteria

I haven't got a clue
Why I still feel so blue
You haven't left my mind
How will I ever unwind

His face his smile
Was he a phantom in my dreams
That's what it really seems
You cannot run away even after 100 miles
