An Unfair World Greets Most! Poem by Dr John Celes

An unfair world awaits some new-born babes;
Most unborn are unwanted, unwelcome;
Some children are abused, misused as well;
Some land as bonded laborers for life!

How wars can make women and children slaves!
Some children get trained to be child-soldiers;
Women are made sex-slaves in war-torn zones;
Children are used as human shields at times!

Migrants have lost their home-lands forever!
Terrorists gun down young adult males most;
The plight of elderly is pitiable;
Some poor live famished, ravished, unsheltered!

The rich add tonnes of money, black and white!
The poor stay poorer, unable to fight;
The unfair world is one of man's making;
God turns the tide when things turn terrible!
