An Evening Out Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

An Evening Out

Having an easy time
After day's hard work
When
The Sun gets down
Its pleasant evening
Time of the night
Running blind folded
Heating up night scenes
With the notes
Notes of the night.
All the young
And not-so-young
Singing along dancing too
Whistling in tune with
For an evening out.

Having an easy time
After day's hard work
Visibly
All around a multitude
Multitude of evening outs
With options several
So sprung up
For an interactive
Entertainment.
Where
All young and old
Grab a drink of taste
Variety of music
And catch up
With friends
Becoming full fast
Fast and favourit
At nightspots and clubs
More than just
Just a drink
Or food or movie
A basic freedom
For the evening outs.

Having an easy time
After day's hard work
The people in craze
In hunt of graze
Hushing and rushing
Dropping
Their hard cash
For pleasure sake
In search of
Mixed music of choice
And their taste
For all the groups
A variety of teams
Making their place
With good values
For the money they take.
Vibrant and lively
Deafening and roaring
All over the market-places
Now, no more weak
Weak the weekend days.

Having an easy time
After day's hard work
For the couples
In their eighties
Lads and lasses
In their twenties
Clubbing all is not bad
At any rate.
Lyrics
Breaking into a dance
An environment soothing
Not a bad option too
For getting off
Off the futon at home
At a certain cost
Where-
All age-groups spot
For an evening out.
