Amen Poem by Oyekake Satty (O S) Joshua

Amen

Rating: 5.0

Be careful of your Amen!
It’s beyond verbal accent
It is acquiescence
In Spirit and in truth
To a binding covenant
To live to their tenets
To reap the rewards

Be careful of your Amen!
It’s a double edged-sword
To adjudicate the agreement
The terms of the covenant
To live out their tenets
Blessings if they are met
Judgment if they are not
