Alone Never Ends Poem by Marilyn Jean

Alone Never Ends

Rating: 5.0

On my way to this place of mine
It seems like coming to my old friend
So, I tried to weight each word
Perhaps unusual for me, they would say
But, once here in all my secret
The text was neither good nor bad
All were mine, free, that only I knew
Months had passed, all counts were lost
So the words in dying softly on the page
Just seek to say how endless alone got

A poignant poem well expressed. Yes, alone never ends. It is sometimes a cycle.
