Ajoke Poem by Adedamola Quadri Adeniyi

Ajoke

Rating: 4.0

Ajoke,

Sise Sise Was said to be Ilakose's
Ekuro was said to be the Alabaku of Ewa,
So is my love to your beautiful soul.

Ajoke,

I'm yet to mend my soul
From yesterday whip of
Abeni tragic accusations
Words that tore me into pieces.

Ajoke,

My heart has been the temple of illusion,
Since Abike murdered the charming vibes in me
Left me to care for lone, While my heart
still lingers with her's.

Ajoke,

Let's play like children who knows
nothing of what morrow might bring to their table
Make me forget the hole Ashake Pierced in my heart.

Ajoke,

My heart has craved for you,
Ever since yesternight you spewed my eulogy,
Like a wealthy man that possess wealth like Aje Olokun.
I've felt the world beneath my feet,
And the illumination of the moon behind my shadows.

Ajoke,

The love we share is my everlasting hope,
To all broken heart and orchestrated promises
Let our union resurface the torment of the past
And set a course for a better morrow.
