Acceptance Poem by Keith Muller

Acceptance

When you get to the point that you allow yourself to be unapologetically you, you begin to open yourself to a world of possibilities beyond description. Suddenly things are different, the people we attract, the things that matter, the experience of existence.
The irony of it all is that there is nothing sudden about this change, the change started the day you were born, up and to this very point you find yourself in. The only consistency in life is that of change.
Your experience of the "sudden" is the point you allowed yourself subconsciously shift into acceptance. This shift is as precipitous as the Big Bang, this point is the end of your world as you know it, and the start to a spectacularly beautiful adventure, one consciously created by nobody but yourself.
