A Tale Of Deceit And Betrayal - By Olivia Rose T

The tangled web of love and deceit,
A tale of promises, and hearts that bleed.
A man, once steadfast, in his love and devotion,
Now wavers, like a reed, in a stormy ocean.
He pledged his heart, his soul, his life,
To one woman, his forever wife.
But then, a second love, caught his eye,
And his commitment began to die.
He strung her along, with words so sweet,
But actions spoke louder, and his love retreat.
His mom, a meddler, with a proposal in hand,
A trap was set, and their love was sand.
The girl, so trusting, believed his every word,
But his lies, like shadows, crept and blurred.
He spoke of loyalty, but his heart was divided,
And his once-clear mind, was now derided.
The mother's scheme, a betrayal so deep,
A stab in the back, that cut their love to sleep.
The girl's heart shattered, like glass on the floor,
As trust was broken, and their love was no more.
As betrayal and deceit, came knocking on her door.
The man and his mother, a duo of deceit,
And their love, a casualty, of their own feat.
The man, once true, now lost in his own deceit,
And his mother, a partner, in this tragic feat.
Their bond, once strong, now lay in tatters and shame,
A cautionary tale, of love's fragile flame.
A lesson learned, of love and loyalty,
And the dangers of meddling, and duplicity.
For love requires truth, and hearts that are pure,
And once broken, it's hard to restore
