A Sweet Home (Sonnet #73) Poem by Tina Rizk

A Sweet Home (Sonnet #73)

That day will come when we'll live in our home
We do share one within our tender heart
Two homes we'll have: one within, one of stone
Poetry will be heard with tunes on harp

Sweet our home will be, sweet as you, soulmate
A nest where our love will flourish and grow
Calm, peace we'll breathe, as felt at heaven's gate
Where tenderness of bliss in the air flows

I'd live with you in a hut or a tent
The love we carry within will warm us
Endless nights upon the sandy shore we'll spend
Under the moonlight, we'll chat and discuss

Your love remains my ultimate dwelling
Your tenderness and you, my everything
