Staring at the endless possibilities of tomorrow;
Has brought my eyes a deep sorrow,
Trying to control the ambiguous future;
Has brought my today a painful torture,
Always looking back at the past;
Put my present in a painful blast,
Dragging the chains of yesterday;
Has shackled the me today,
To us my peers this is a lesson;
That our today is tomorrow's reason,
And that the past is not today's shackle;
To move forward the day today we must tackle,
For it is what we do today that determines the end result;
Our actions today will fix the past and serve as our future's catapult,
For the best way to predict the future and fix the past;
Is to invent a scenario in the present that will forever last.
