A Royal Flush Poem by Dave Birss

A Royal Flush

Rating: 5.0

In July of 1987
The Queen arrived to cut the ribbon
And open Inverness Town Hall
Revealing a brass plaque on the wall.
When she arrived at 12: 03
One did need a Royal Wee
Really rather desperately
And used the hall's facility
And to this day that loo is known
As Inverness's Royal Thrown.
