A Rejuvenating Reunion Poem by C. Muralidara Kannan

A Rejuvenating Reunion

Fly, fly, fly fluttering flannels and flags florescent fly...furls on furls...fly
for the friends foeless
forsee the feste of fraternity.

Fly, fly, fly high
Like the fear-free falcons try
fathom the fathomless sky.

An amalgam d'amis rare
After a two score year
Arriving at the alma mater
Birds flown far and near
found a time to return here.

Fly...Fly...Fly and behold
them cherish memories old
share the mischiefs untold
It's indeed a feast multifold!

A reunion is grand gala communion,
a mirthful mellowing moment of
many a companion.

Fly...fly...fly...wave them here
come again three score year
Fly... fly...high in the sky
And, now bid them goodbye.
