A Poet's Departure Poem by Konalli Rajeev Naik

A Poet's Departure

Rating: 5.0

Upon a tenant poet's departure
Escorted his unfulfilled desires.

Loading his lyrics
With owner intrusion issues
He richly whistle blew
For owning a paddy field.
That careworn departure day
Renounced paddy field plow.
Insomniac was the night
Lacking his lyric symphony.
Remembered all the doors and windows
Of the destitute homes
His peeping, spying utterances.

Chanting sea waves close to his shed
Invited the lyrics to the sandy shore
To show all lyrics as restless as waves
Reminding everyone for being humane.
