A Place Poem by Ronald Strickland

A Place

Rating: 5.0

Far, far away is
where I would love to be.

A place where the sun
kisses the sea.

Where the mountains distance travel
to see the mythical mermaid swim
and play, beneath the magic moonlight
after the kiss, of the sun.

Where the breathtaking colors
of the wild flowers grow.

Where the land spreads
as far as the eye can see, and all
the magic to behold.

Where the heavens touch and hug the earth
and every soul is free.

Where the heart never weeps and
a frown never seen.

The mind is filled with wonders and dreams
In this place I long to be.

If you take my hand and go with me,

In this place I would surely be.

If only in my dreams.
