A Perfect Season Poem by Minnie Gehrig

A Perfect Season

Rating: 2.1

underneath the night sky..
where the amber ale leaves stars in my eyes...
n thoughts they manifest themselves,
my mother reflected n the waves
of oceans far away...
n friends leave there voices behind,
whispering pearls of wisdom
on the wasted oysters of shores from long ago...
n i rise unto my path alone...
n seemingly unafraid..
n giving gratitude as freely as breathes
the love of life leading itself to death only to breath into itself the same way the stars implode and explode into realities that are unimagined beneath the ceilings of ponderings, n muses that are unquestioned, n the summer gives way to the fall,
a perfect season to bury it all and start anew....
