A Lost Hiker Poem by Abderrahmane Dakir

A Lost Hiker

Rating: 5.0

You enjoy to take a risk it's your right,
Let me know before leaving that night.

I tell you being with friends or a coach,
To escape from dangers or an avalanche.

The most mistake you made is going alone,
On the largest mountain while climbing down.

The ice, the rock might landed on,
Your body, your life depended on.

You might be injured or fell in a hole,
Or killed, you made your gravestone.

You did not expect to hit your health,
Insurance does not replace your death.

You were proud of your adventure,
We see your laugh on that picture,
Such a lost made me feel in torture.

Excellent poem, with great advice for sure! Yes whenever you go climbing never go alone, you never know what will happen. You need to have someone with you when doing something dangerous.10++ Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn

This is a great poem. It conveys a message we all need to heed- -think before taking risk. Harm that comes may not come only to oneself. Thanks for sharing.
