A Full Moon Walked Across The Sky Tonight Poem by Terence George Craddock

A Full Moon Walked Across The Sky Tonight

Rating: 5.0

I watched a full moon walk
across the sky tonight
in the stillness lit
by a thousand thousand stars
burning burning nova bright
in dusted off the early warmth
of a dark satin spring claret night;

the night was smooth spun silk
weaving silken threads
into my crystal glass mind
glossy fabric gleams sparkles
woven in liquid light
mind song river
flood surging waves

hear womb silk whisper
weave woven in threads
divine universal warp harmonies;

caught looped weft crosswise threads
skim sky lips on a loom in mind song
over under threads are weave spun sung
in sparkling jewel sky meteor star flight
the warp passes in shuttle cosmic intervals
the moon was singing songs of love stirring
whispering laughing crying on the lips of love;

I heard a million souls
rise fall on moon swoon words
the moon is the blood pulse heart beat
infusing all vast myriads planet earth lives
run on fast fleet feet fall
on time shimmer skinned knees;

in all whirlpool river emotions
the allure full moon plucks
quick silver heart beat lives
we are flesh framed instruments
feelings time weather tuned are our heart strings
come hear orchestra embedded melody sung;

our sombre sweet wine lives...
