A Faithful Echo
The transcendent
and eternal God
steps into time
and space in the
form of Jesus Christ,
freely displaying
His beauty.
This, then,
is the beauty
of the Incarnate Son.
He is the icon
of what is unseen,
the Word for which
our words offers
a faithful echo
of the eternal
self communication
of the divine Silence.
