A Dream Of Mine Poem by Andrew Pelletier

A Dream Of Mine

My heart jumps, when hearing her name
The thought of her, brings me shame
I regret not making my move
My love for her, I want to prove
When I see her, I want to hide
She walks with her hair to the side
When she's near, I pass a glance
I can't believe I missed my chance
When she's close by, I get shy
Saying different would be lie
She's so pretty, to me thats fact
Theres much courage, that I have lacked
She's so gorgeous, but doesn't know this
The more I think, the more I miss
She deserves better, that's for sure
I see myself, wanting more
To be with her, thats my dream
Perhaps one day, I'll redeem
She's one thing, I can't forget
If she was mine, I'd be set
