A Disparaging Situation Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Humanity is a strange people, having so much going for
them, yet many not caring to reach their purpose in an
individual destiny, getting sidetracked at times.

Depression, drugs, alcohol, or sex, either raping or
being raped themselves, others go all out, getting an
education, later on getting married, having a family.

Teaching their children right from wrong, morals, ethics
and values, how can humanity stop the evil that inevitably
comes into play for those who are weaker.

Having no inner strength, faith or hope, a disparaging
situation that could've possibly been taken care of when
just children by teaching their children spirituality
and how to have a spiritual interior life to help them to
get through.
