A Crow Is Not A Nightingale Poem by Payal Priya

A Crow Is Not A Nightingale

Rating: 5.0

A crow is not a nightingale
There are no odes written on him.
No one ever likes his songs,
No heart aches at his cawing.
If only we could see the beauty,
In those pitch black wings.
Or hear the valuable story,
Embedded in those notes shrill.
If only we could see -
What God sees in every being.
A touch of His love.
A tinge of ethereal beauty.

Age old wisdom says that there is no comparison between a crow and nightingale. Will anybody see through the game plan of the God Almighty- The Creator. Thanks for sharing. I quote: If only we could see - What God sees in every being.
