A Bob Ross Day Poem by Angie M..

A Bob Ross Day

'Happy Little Trees'

You bend to the left
and to the right
(or to the right and to the left)
depending

on solid ground

and when your choice hugged the light
chlorophyll sipped the morning
in a dialectical course of cheer

yet those silent delights I hear

roots fill your leaves
Sap greens we see
then asleep
(your consciousness)
each year

awake the same in the spring
and then
each day you sip
the more you'll bring.
