A Bitter Sweet Love Affair
Writing and especially writing poetry.
Is a bittersweet love affair.
Not all the time.
But sometimes.
Sometimes it flows,
Flows easy.
And sometimes,
It doesn't flow easy.
It can be demanding.
But demanding in a good way,
When something's finished,
Achieved,
Complete.
So yeah.
A bittersweet love affair.
And I find more sweet in poetry,
Than bitter.
I'm glad it's that way.
