A Bill Poem by (TPAC) Alexander Coppedge

A Bill

Annotation, put into a system, it is to rule, likened to a voice, pre-preparation to perform as an actual law; did factors of our nation: actions done in the halls of Congress.

All factors handwritten, set in ink, cut of a health's law, given votes for it to stink, final value, wink of staring eyes, approving the fact; it's yes: its say name bill.

This built system, it will be to fulfill voted activities, it's a bust, calling this rectangular form a dollar, in God on it is printed; state us to trust: it's a must.

The people used this dollar in sips to buy at all stores, soldiers that're alive whose still lips to say the words, yields a life's gift, have many flips to live; said in a bill: set law.

Folks that're elected, obtaining a seat, to plan the living standards, taking out taxes, had wolves a feat; placing limits on lives: actions to beat a poor world.

Wealth, on the side, obtained by a tax order, principles based on the trade of the notes placed, gains by totes given, votes that say choices; have acts of crime: this bill.

Each selected bill, twists a fine string as a spider, funds out of the pockets voters, by a signed paper; its robbers: swing to bring loot to do evil things.

This pick by you chosen, it's a fact, be as you will, ponders thrill, its services to aid you; viewed in a planned law: each month this bill.

A tax, paid for services did certainty by law, enforcing hurts, ends fair justice; allow its counter to hell: a flame.
