young yet beautiful
in pain yet determined,

Comes a time in one's life
when duty calls beyond the walls of home,
a soldier to be, is just not the force of destiny
but he by himself with his own perseverance
...

What made that day to dawn
without a sign of warning?
what made him not to think
that God was waiting on the other side
...

I am not your enemy or friend,
I am not your benefactor or destroyer,
I am not your master or your servant,
you are all these of your own will;
...

As she descended on this earth, silently she lived;
from a child, to a girl, to a woman she grew.
She did not know of the wonders of life like we did
but life knew of her innocence and helped her thro'
...

Many lamps, many homes
all lighted in the darkness of night;
time for prayers, pujas, rituals
many hearts together assemble
...

O' those unexpected attacks of terror
not even the blind, the lame, the sick, foresee
yet, those episodes keep repeating, casting grief
as nothing can stop those horses of rage
...

Someday in life
you will find me....
in those classrooms we sat
we studied together
