From Sailboat To Horizon

Here's a sailboat tied to the dock,
Holding itself from sailing away.
The tide of feelings wants to carry it to the horizon,
The wind of time wants to flow it to the horizon,
But it's held at the dock knowing what's fair,
That a horizon is to watch, and not to embrace.

If it dares to try and sail a long long way,
If it dares to fight the strong storm and tall waves,
Will the horizon shining bright and vast,
Embrace the sailboat and not let it pass?
'cause the sail would be broken, so it can't go back.
Its zeal would be lost, so it can't fight back.
Left stranded at the horizon, it will sink.
How would it make the horizon feel?
Would she have tears or would she be cold?
If she has tears, she'll live on with a regret,
And if she's cold, what a waste of a boat.

The sailboat never wants to sink.
That's why it doesn't want to leave.
It's at the dock passing on a thought,
That the horizon should extend to another horizon,
And the sailboat should sail with another sailboat.

By staying away, they stay together.
By staying away, they watch each other.
Maybe that's the best way to live together.
Maybe that's how we should be forever.
