Zone Poem by Christoph Praus

Zone

Ignitions flare in stopped emotion,
Hollow space is opened up,
And who are we, this human race?
To dare to taketh up this cup?
To dream of spaces thus undreamt?

Far flung we are into the depths,
Wanderlust has taken hold,
Into our hearts has deeply crept,
Our minds and wills doubtless sold,
But we still cling to this lofty hope!
