Youthful Beauty Poem by Andrew Pelletier

Youthful Beauty

When we're close, and our eyes meet
We both tend to smile
Then we start to talk and laugh
And mingle for a while

What a gal, so young and pretty
But no one seems to realize
I'm a man who truly knows
She's a a beauty in disguise

Now it seems when we're apart
I miss her more than ever
She's often there in my thoughts
I dream of us together

Does she feel the same as me?
If not, I'd sadly mope
But for her to be my lover
Is something that I hope
