Where Are You My Love Poem by BRENDA KANSHABE TUMUSHABE

Where Are You My Love

wish you came around
looked me in the eyes
and told me how beautiful i am

wish you held me
your hand aroun my waist
pushed me to the wall
lifted my chin up
lowered your lips onto mine
and told me how much you love me

wish we sat all night
on that coach
leaning on each other
absorbed in the evening breeze
watching the stars appear in the sky
and birds retire to their nests

my love where are you
i long to see your face
desert me not honey
depart not
but if you decide to
depart with my love
it belongs to you
with no strings attached
