What A Dog Wants Poem by Randy McClave

What A Dog Wants

A dog doesn't wanna be regretted
It just wants to be hugged and petted,
A dog doesn't wanna be left all alone
All a dog wants, is a bone.

A dog doesn't wanna run and hide
It just wants to be loyal at someones side,
A dog doesn't wanna just sit or lay
It just wants to run and play.

A dog doesn't wanna be hit or shoved
All that it wants is to be loved,
A dog doesn't wanna feel shame
All that it wants is to be given a name.

A dog doesn't wanna be trained to fight
It just wants to give smiles and bring delight,
A dog doesn't wanna roam
All that it wants is to find itself a home.
