Truth Poem by Tshililo Thomas Radzilani

Truth

What is truly truth?
Why people smear it the mud?
Why are we being deceived?
What makes those in power and organisations turn it up-side-down

Is the whole nation regarded as stupid?
Those in power know it all?
Being loudest mean the truth upholder?
Is it the truth to bribe followers?

It seems empty and full stomach dilute the truth.
Is election vibes talking the truth?
The truth never dies
Truth can't be coated

The powerfull reject it in public
The truth has evaporated on even the clergy
The leaders are pocketed by the wealthy
Those in legal fraternity hunt for loopholes

Truly truth will never die
To be silent does not mean we agree
Being humane is destroying the humble
Am being killed for knowing the truth?

What is correct is the truth
There is truth - there is lies
The conscience of the lier knows the truth
Truth sets yourself free
Lies are a heavy burden to you
Lies are expensive and require regurlar spin-doctor

Don't take us for a ride
You know the truth and we know it
Accept the wrong we will forgive
We will become tired of being lied to
Let truth be truth to us all! ! !
