~true Love ~ Poem by Aftab Alam

~true Love ~

Rating: 5.0

Often I think-What's love? Why it's difficult to explain?
Un-uttered, un-whispered -soul to soul, eyes to eyes,
Two hearts attached within wave with the unseen chain,
None can separate them- fearless-they die if one dies,

This is not about Sati- I am against that but if love breaks the whole breaks -if one dies the other dies- the intimacy, the love bond so strong if one dies the other feels the world useless - sati was forceful and not willing sati was a crimyoung movement of Bengal opposes and eradicated -

simply superb, except for the half of the last sentence...Our ancestors had worked hard to eradicate this evil in India..I enjoyed the rest of the poem.. well done..
