Trembling Thirst Poem by Mantu Mahakul

"Although a thirsty camel does not get water, still manages many days more in better way. After feeling the thirst exactly you feel this sweeter. However a deer in desert runs in reeling behind mirage due to thirst. Who does link we do not know. But here deer drinks hot sand. When fishes in pond think at that time short thirst comes. For matters and money many feel thirsty and run behind. Some drink salty or sugar water and some drink too honey due to thirst. All most all people do not understand that why does thirst come. In clumsy road stand, their thirst drinks their hopes. Up to far and far place a thirsty man searches for water. It is just like rockets go far planets to search for existence of life and water in space. Wise people divert their thirst towards knowledge. In very fast they culture and adopt values and purity. For them Godly wisdom becomes water to drink. In meditation they link to get God in their thirst. Nectar of nature they do drink drop by drop. They also cultivate crop of virtue for far future. God becomes their aim, learning and vision. This thirst is of God's season, oh dear people." This poem is based on such theme. This is written in Odisha, India and dedicated to the people of the world.
