Tower Of Light Poem by Pablo Neruda

Tower Of Light

Rating: 3.0

O tower of light, sad beauty
that magnified necklaces and statues in the sea,
calcareous eye, insignia of the vast waters, cry
of the mourning petrel, tooth of the sea, wife
of the Oceanian wind, O separate rose
from the long stem of the trampled bush
that the depths, converted into archipelago,
O natural star, green diadem,
alone in your lonesome dynasty,
still unattainable, elusive, desolate
like one drop, like one grape, like the sea.

As wonderful as ever. This is one of the little brilliant jewels from Pablo Neruda. He has the extrordinary ability to be deep, believable, romantic, dreamfull and stoked on reality. What will do inlove people without Neruda? What will do rejected people without Neruda? He is one of the inmortal ones. His word will survive to strokes and explotions. His word will surpass ideologichal limits and idiomatic frontiers. He is one is a celebration of beauty and love to unmerely humanity.Lighting and apealing. And I chose this one for being a real arquichectonic construct of delight.Who woul not love him?
