I like how simple this poem is, and yet the sentiments it expresses are not as simple as its form. You will never wash out me...you can never lash out me was the swapping in the figures of speech deliberate? For instance, ...wash me out as opposed to...wash out me. Although, the english language does not belong to the english anymore. The language intergrated with native languages, the workings of the grammar, to some extent, it very much belongs to people who have made english their own. So, this is what came to mind when reading those two lines...
