To My True Love Poem by Edward Jeffery

To My True Love

Rating: 5.0

To my true love, I have hurt you in so many ways. I am truly sorry for all the pain I have caused, the turmoil and drama I seem to have around me that has infected you and your dreams and everything else I seem to destroy.

I have thought hard for months about me and you burning this hole through and through not knowing how to make things right for you. I am scared, confused, and lonely trapped within myself needing your love to guide my way.

I want you to know that I truly love you. I have never felt so loved by any individual or such a great family. I cherish each moment we have spent together good or bad, and I have learned to love through you. I am so sorry baby for hurting you as I have done.

When the rains fall from the sky, under my shelter you can hide. Although it appears to be cold and black you can be assured I have your back. So step softly from step to step and always remember we never forget, but if we decide to see another day, the rays from the sun will brighten our way, and if that path leads somewhere new don't every forget I truly love only you

Nice and well written. A heartfelt apology, subtly rendered with humility and a need for reconciliation. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
