Tired Poem by Diana Ballesteros

Tired

I am tired my soul is wanting to go home, this kind of life is making my heart feel heavy and wants to go home, am not sure where home is but I know my soul will find it, and it will pull it like a magnet to a metal. Every breath I take the more tired I grow. I want to rest, I need to. My soul misses home, the freedom of the outside world. The freedom of feeling the wind or even the warm sun kissing my cheek, the freedom of feeling the grass under my toes, like a small child and feeling the earth under my hands as I plant my different flowers to know that the world has a beautiful part to it. I know one day I will go home but today I only write.
