Time To Grow Up; Graduation Poem by Lisa Flores

Time to go
Time to grow up
I wish you good luck for the rest of your life
Now that we have to go our separate ways
Follow the road don't look back
we both know we will want to go back
But time cannot go back or be stopped
time will only go forward like we are
moving on with our lives
we have bank full of memories but
make sure you keep your precious of memories not in your head but in your heart
our friendship is the one thing that time cannot change
we might change from place to place
and the people we know and who we are friends with now
but our time here, in high school will remain within us
the people we were the last four years
are the building blocks of who we will become one day
so now it is time to say goodbye
there is no time left to delay it anymore
there is no going back
there is only going forward and saying goodbye
to our last days in high school and
welcome in a new era and unfortunately responsibilities nobody wants
