I thought i found love
Oh, bad luck strikes again
And it came at a price
The moment where i begin
To catch feelings for someone
Who i thought genuinely
Wanted something tangible
It remains a fantasy

I thought i found love
But something was missing
Thinking back at yesterday
Didn't know i was risking

My heart, which was stung by deception
Oh, what a mess you've made
And troubles would follow
If i continued giving you affection

Was a beautiful beginning
And then there came
The bittersweet ending
Things now set in motion
Like the poison from the sting of my rejection
