The Despair Of Nothing To Write/ Except Writing About Nothing To Write Poem by Shalom Freedman

The Despair Of Nothing To Write/ Except Writing About Nothing To Write

Rating: 5.0

The despair of nothing to write
Except writing about nothing to write
The despair of repetition
Of saying again and again
What no one wants to hear
The despair of speaking to oneself alone
And pretending to speak to someone else
The despair of knowing one is trying to hold on
To some hope some faith some belief in one's own life
By writing
When one has nothing to write
Except the confession of one's own feeling
Over and over again
With the secret hope
That by writing this
I am saying what others feel
As it has never been said before.

'With the secret hope That by writing this I am saying what others feel As it has never been said before.' - Yes, I find my own thoughts expressed in most of your poems. So, certainly you 'say what othes feel'. The poem gets 5 stars***** from me, as all those that I have read of yours.

This is very much how I feel, but have never been able to express it this well.
