The Departing Ditty Poem by vaibhav vizard

The Departing Ditty

Rating: 4.5

I know you are in melancholy,
tears are rolling from your cheeks,
but I will not ask you.
I know you are suffering,
your heart is whining,
but I will not say anything.
I know you are parting from me,
our bond is perished,
but I will not whimper.
I know you will be my earnest desire,
my heart pumps and seeks your advent,
but I will put stone on my heart.
I know my happiness lies in your happiness,
so I will not force you a bit,
but I will keep thy recollections.
I know life will be mundane and solitary,
zephyr of autumn will vanish,
but I will be merry with scorching summer and weird winter.
