Teachers Poem by Jazib Kamalvi

Teachers

Rating: 4.4

Though teachers are not kings,
yet they are the king makers.

Though teachers have not wings,
yet they have to fly acres.

Beware ever, o kings!
Beware, o the caretakers!

Lend ear to the warnings,
Take care, o the head-shakers!

I have always felt that teachers are an important part of the human evolution and reading this poem about them and the appreciation dripping from these lines only goes to show how invaluable they are. Thank you for the poem.
