Take One Road Poem by Neela Nath Das

Take One Road

Rating: 5.0

Walking is your own choice.
The road must be one, one voice!
Two legs can't choose two roads
You know, you follow though,
The road in between not for show.
Once you like, then dislike.
You make flood, you build dyke.
Love yet you always hate me,
Try to rule but sit on your knee.
This is a grotesque thing I feel.
Show will be on, you stop you until.

Walk on the path of your choice but don't hate the other paths as all the roads lead to the same destination.

Four legs can take two different paths that has been my lengthy nemesis! Perhaps two legs makes the choice of paths more simplistic?
