Summertime Symphony Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

Summertime Symphony

Rating: 4.5

The Leader of Nature raises a baton,
Enabling a summertime symphony
To blend the aroma of colorful flowers
With the environment, so picturesque and free.
Changing the pastel colors of Spring
Into harmonizing shades - especially green.
Releasing the grip on sunshine and showers,
Suggesting a symphonic composition to be seen.
Then pointing the baton towards the sky
As if seeking approval of performance there,
Reminding the world that nature and earthlings
Still make a cooperative and formidable pair.
