Summer Poem by Dan Uriel

Summer

cute flat freshman news
flowing meadow of lightness
the birch shakes with silver brightness
breeze and ring in the sky
the wasp is coming, it smells
he growls and goes to the wild rose
the angry rose bows
red but slender even in summer

but more and more soft bumps
bloody strawberries on the sand
dozing whisper the corn
storm perched on the foliage
my summer is so fast!
devil's chariot is the wind
heaven snaps and flashes
my followers are the mower edge
