Stranger To Love

Rating: 5.0
O' stranger
How I want yr hand to stroke my cheek
Wiping the tears made by solitude
And how I want yr lips to cherish mine

Where are you, my love?
Can I go with you?
As these walls are starting to close in
And become a jail
The silence grows in volumes
In my cell

O' stranger
Could you take me to a forbidden place?
Where you can deflower me
In a state of pure love
As we eat the apple of sacred knowledge
Protecting us from the poison of ignorance

But you are unknown to me
I look for you in bars and seedy motels
Every night as I drink my fabled wine
I end up empty without love
Waking up before dusk
To try it once more

Sadness and Solitude, never better portrayed. This poem could melt the coldest hearts and easily reach immortality thru its poetic beauty and written pain

A beautiful heart felt write. Ah! True love probably only exists in poetry or perhaps not. Seeking and finding are such different things.
