Spider On The Wall Poem by Rani Turton

Spider On The Wall

Spider on the wall,
You can see us all
Do you wonder as to why
We scurry and worry?
We have our lives to live
(Four score and ten)
Waiting and worrying, often.

Spider on the wall,
A web still to be woven
Around family portraits on the wall;
So much work to be done
But knows Duty above all.

Spider on the wall,
Eternal artisan
Wiser than I who watches you.
You know your duty, I move on
Errors sown, often unknown
Often unkown.
